With due respect, I beg to state that I am a regular student of your school. The marriage ceremony of my elder sister will be held on 13^th July. I shall not be able to attend school from the 11^th to the 17^th July instant.

I therefore pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me leave of absence for those days only.
